Veterinary Visit

Well it’s that time of year again. Off to the Vet we go. Nothing too special about the visit just a routine check up and the odd needle. The upside to having little feeling in the backside means its no big deal getting a couple of jabs. The ladies at Noah’s Ark Veterinary Clinic are always lovely to Geoff and make him feel welcome and safe however it’s probably James that needs the comfort! A clean bill of health and job done for another year. Advertisements Continue reading Veterinary Visit

Hanging at home

The Aussie summer this year has mostly been too hot to leave the cool air conditioned comfort of home or too wet to bother putting on the raincoat and head outside. All of this crazy weather has made spending time out and a about difficult for Geoff so we’ve just been hanging at home. Little bit of R&R, the occasional walk around the neighbourhood, laying down some tracks in the studio and soaking in the tub. Life’s pretty good! Continue reading Hanging at home

Aussie Day

We don’t need much of a reason to have a party. Australia Day provides a good enough reason so we put a bit of air into the pool, invited a few friends over and had a nice relaxing arvo eating yummy lamb, drinking a few tins of XXXX Gold and listening to home grown Aussie Artists. Unable to participate in swimming Geoff wore his Aussie T Shirt with pride and relaxed by the pool. Maybe a real pool and a set of floaties for Geoff next year? Continue reading Aussie Day

Car Wash

After the scorching heat started to cool in the afternoon James thought it would be a good opportunity to get out of the lovely cool house and air conditioning to wash the dirty cars…he must be mad! Actually the weather was fairly pleasant and besides the hose would be sure to add a little relief. Geoff insisted on helping as usual but was not so sure about getting all wet. A couple of clean cars and a very wet but clean puppy. Good Job boys! </a Continue reading Car Wash

Merry Christmas

Well Xmas finally arrived as it usually does, the end of the world didn’t stand a chance against the man in red this year. Geoff was awake early having been awake most of the night, disturbed by something outside. Perhaps the reindeers were keeping him up? Finally, after many days of Geoff crying and staring at his stocking hanging on the fireplace, today was the day. Not wanting to delay him from seeing what was inside any longer we dutifully got up, popped him in his wheels and set about opening the presents. Geoff got straight to work on his … Continue reading Merry Christmas

It’s beginning to look a lot like Xmas

With Christmas fast approaching we thought we better get moving and start adding a little Xmas cheer around the home before its all over for another year. Now, people who know me know I’m pretty much the Grinch when it comes to celebrating Christmas, however this year, rather than pulling against jolly old saint Nick, avoiding Christmas festivities like the plague or groaning every time I hear a Christmas carol, I thought it might do me well to try something different this year. So today we set play to a Christmas playlist, dragged the Chrissie tree out of the shed … Continue reading It’s beginning to look a lot like Xmas

Where in the World are the Geoff’s?

A little while ago in a dimly lit room, a few sheets of calico, some cushion stuffing, a few yards of cotton and some busy hands gave life to four little Geoff Dolls. Armed with a Journal and a snug little case these four little Geoff Dolls set off to spread our little message across four different continents around the world. Geoff #1 was snapped having snow fights and making Snowmen in Thredbo, Australia. Geoff #2 visited temples, did some fishing and hung with the locals In Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Clang! Clang! Clang! went the trolley In San Francisco with … Continue reading Where in the World are the Geoff’s?

Sunday Morning

When the Newcastle weather is this good it must be taken advantage of. So we dragged Geoff out of bed and headed to Estabar for a coffee and croissant and a nice sunny spot to soak up the warmth of the Sun. The morning wouldn’t be complete without a stroll along the Beach and drive along Newcastle’s beautiful coastline. Geoff sniffed the breeze from his car viewing platform ie his car seat. All this morning activity makes for two sleepy boys, time for a rest I’d say! Continue reading Sunday Morning
